MEXICAN LAW ENFORCEMENT

Mexico is one on the nations were the dead penalty is not applied yet is one of the most violent countries int he world. Mexico need tougher punishments for those involved in the drug world and corruption recently a new law was passed so that people that were hired killers for the drug lords can be sentenced to life in prison. But This is not enough because the government in going to end up paying for the spends that are recurred to keep this people in jail instead this crime should be paid with their own life just like they decided to kill others this might actually inspire killers not to kill because of the real consequences that could happen to them. And for those that are corrupted and to collaborated with the organized crime maybe not by killing but by other means should get the life in prison penalty.

Peace has become a common objective in many countries and for many people is something that seems far from reachable. Peace is the stance that people what to be because it mean that they have no worries and for some people its the reward ofter a tragic event that they had to go through to achieve peace. Peace is something that will will never achieve for sure because it never lasts and thats just the way it is

Many people take it for granted because its something that they live every day but for people in other countries like Egypt it becomes a constant fight because the laws are out of other and their leaders as dictators provoke violence between them and the people. Its the abuse of power that cause the people to be angry because the people elected to be leaders should be responsible and dedicate 100% to their people who trust them.

The number one problem preventing peace is that we cant take care of each other. People should care more about others than them self because that brings peace to everyone around you. The people in charge of other people like presidents and kings should do the same. Because when  we put someone in power that cares for the people we have a better country to live in.

People should be inspired to change the world and trust each other to take care of problems because like in egypt is the people running the country preventing human advances in peace. Its not our nature to be peaceful and maybe its just the sad truth but we have the mentality to know whats right and whats wrong so fight for your rights and freedom to live in a more peaceful world

EGYPT

Egypt just witness the resign of their president after protesting to take him out of power because of his abuse and his bad leadership that was holding the country down. President Mubarak is accused by the people for cruelty and torture from his police. Many crimes were committed toward the people of egypt by the government and now they demand that is id put in trial. Egypt has had the same president for over 30 years and he refused to give up his power until it finally came to an end do to a protest that started January 2011. people acted with no violence and they got what they wanted

 One of the things that I have learned from teachers since I was little is that history repeats itself. Trough out history there has been good and bad leaders that have taken us trough happiness or have led us to the need of revolution or rebellion for what is fair.Egypt has had the same president for the past 30 years and on january 25 of 2011 the people from egypt decided to stand for what is right and made a revolutionary protest against president Hosni Mubarak. President Mubarak took egypt trough a strike of terror and economic disintegration. People needed a change and they decided to step up and be the mature ones and organized a peaceful protest like the kind that Muhandas Gandhi promoted during his life time, fighting terror with peace.

Homophobic stand up

    People who like people of the same sex are often forced to hide their sexual orientations because they are afraid of what society things of them and when they are brave enough sometimes they end up being bullied by a person who hates their way of living and do not approve it in the film people defended the guy by reacting in a peaceful stand up against the bullies to support him because they what to show him that he is not alone and that there is people who are willing to stand for him and others like him and defend them. Their sexual orientation makes them different from what people expect but they still have equal rights and don't deserve to be bullied around and live with fear. I believe that the video Stand Up was directed to the people who are there and decide to do nothing rather than to the bullies or the gay people.

Memo

    Juarez has many communities in poor conditions and often need help from the community for food and shelter.With in the poor communities  there is one family that immediately call attention,Within the poor communities there it stands an old school bus that became the home of a couple and 3 children.The father of this family became blind after an car battery explored in his face exposing him to battery Acid making him unable to get a job.Here in the El Paso community there is an organization by the Ruiz family called J.E.M ministries that dedicate then selfs to feeding and clothing the needed families in Juarez. Every week end they prepare 200+ burritos that they take to Juarez along with collected clothing for the needed.Years ago they stopped working on their unfinished home to help the needed and as a reward for their efforts they were chosen by the show extreme makeover to rebuilt their house but this time with 2 industry ready kitchens so they can continue helping their organization grow larger helping more people.

Central Asia

When i finished watching the video about Central asia the first thing that i remembered was how the guy promised he would come back and build a school and how he actually did. It only took one good person to move forward.This makes me think about building a future and how more people like this can help construct a future and my mental picture draws a tree that represents the future by education and the roots being strong like the people that help build it. I learned about places where woman are lucky to get to 5th grade in education and in most cases this is enough to teach them health and how to use protection and take care of them selfs witch helps prevent population explosions. And in places like this many agree that woman deserve education and are welling to progress into educating girls and boys equally. This kids live in extreme poor conditions but they have the desire to learn and become important people in their community. I agree that education is the future...

When I think of peace I also think about what it takes to earn peace. Peace is sometimes like the calm before the storm or it positive side at the end of the storm.Peace to me is security and control of your position for example, when u wake up and you realize you have the perfect life because u have a job and a home and a place to stay and no one is after you for anything that brings peace of mind and helps the stress level and it could actually help you enjoy a healthier live. I belive that peace helps spiritualism and social life. Having a good relation with a  neighbor or other countries or maibe with the rest of the world could also be something more close to you like your neighbor having a good relation with them can be important because you have the peace that they are not going to betray you. What i learned about this is have good friends around you so you can have peace because a good friend can help with anything...
